Andrew Leeman

Drew writes for people who are new to the Western Seaboard and still working out how everything fits together. He asks the beginner questions out loud, because he was asking them himself not long ago, and he spells out the local knowledge that lifelong residents forget they know. His pieces name the unwritten rule nobody tells a newcomer, from the wind to the bin day to the beach parking. Not knowing, he reckons, is a perfectly fine place to start.
